Meet Jenny

Hello!

I’m a wife, mother, and Gigi who is passionate about my faith, family (including my Shih Tzu, Cocoa), and friends. I enjoy chocolate, flavored coffee, and reading a good book at the beach.

My inspiration for writing and working in children’s ministry came after reading a devotional on the importance of children learning about Jesus at a young age. That’s when the idea for It’s Cool To Be A Christian was born. I had never thought about becoming a writer, but this sparked a desire in me for discipleship through writing.

Attending Christian writer conferences, joining a Word Weavers critique group, leading a Zoom Bible study, and studying the context of God’s Word have shaped both my writing skills and my commitment to convey biblical truth.

My other work experience includes 25+ years in outside sales, marketing, and business ownership. This additional experience has prepared me for the business side of writing.

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior as a child. His love, joy, forgiveness, and peace have sustained me through every season of life. I fall short each day, but I’m grateful to be saved by grace. It’s in my heart to share how others can also receive this great gift. I invite you to put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6, and join me in teaching children and others why it’s cool to be a Christian.

I’m also a firm believer in the power of prayer. Please visit my Prayer page to learn more and submit prayer requests. Keep scrolling to read about my latest projects.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

The curriculum is based on my current book, It’s Cool To Be A Christian. I’m praying for them to be completed and published soon to share with everyone!
