Prayer carries great power because it connects believers directly to God, the source of all strength and wisdom. Miracles happen every day as a result of prayer. It can move mountains through faith (Matthew 17:20).

Philippians 4:6 reminds us to bring all of our worries and needs to God in prayer with a thankful heart. We can find comfort in knowing our prayers are heard by a faithful God who replaces anxiety with His calming peace.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

When our prayers aren’t answered as we hope, we can trust in God’s reasoning, timing, and plan. Our omniscient God sees beyond what we can’t see.
